Spring 2023

Today is the first day of Spring.

We are experiencing a very cold and snowy March. I am hopeful that the weather will start warming and the snow will disappear soon (always the optimist).

I have had a good chance to work behind the torch lately and have loved playing with some new colors.

I have been working with some silver glass along with some dichroic glass.
I love the shimmer and glow from the inside. Above is a cabochon using those glasses.

Necklace on me

Above are pictures of the same necklace.
I only included large beads to the front so the necklace wouldn't get too heavy.

I am enjoying this combination of colors and different glass.

small dish - 2

Another small dish hot from the kiln. I like the size.

I have a small dish that I have used for years to place jewelry into - therefore keeping my dresser organized. I think this dish will replace it on my dresser.

It is only 4 3/4 inches across - very petite.

Here is the same bowl upside down - note the dichroic glass squares are black on the bottom.

I have another petite dish slumping now and I am so excited to be working with glass again.
